I would like to relate an experience that happened to me many years ago, as a testimony to the power of our beloved Ascended Masters to transfer great boons of light to us and our auric fields as we give of ourselves in service to their cause. This is a story as well of the great attainment of our beloved Buddha Mother Clare de Lis, who certainly is a great teacher and lover of the soul for those who desire a greater walk with God.

The Church Universal and Triumphant owned a piece of property in the Paradise Valley, Montana called the Heart of the Inner Retreat where they held summer conferences. This property is a beautiful alpine valley surrounded by mountains and bordering Yellowstone National Park. The valley was bisected by a mountain stream. On one side of the valley lay a road leading to the Heart of the Inner Retreat along which there existed a public campground. On the opposing side of the valley stand some mountains, one of which is affectionately known as “Maitreya’s Mountain”.

One summer I decided to camp in the public campground while we were working at the Heart of the Inner Retreat to prepare it for the summer conference. Frequently I was the only soul abiding there at night in the great solitude and peace of that almost heavenly place.

One night, as my body lay in slumber, I awoke to find myself walking in my finer body from the campground across the valley towards the area of Maitreya’s Mountain. As I reached the base of the mountain I became aware that I was heading for what appeared to be an opening of a cave, out of which were emanating ribbons of glowing light. Approaching the entrance, I peered inside to discover an oval shaped natural cave, about 25 feet in diameter at its greatest width, with ceilings about 15 feet high.

To my surprise, at the far end of the cave was a beautiful altar, and standing in front of it with her back to me was our beloved Guru Ma! Noticing my presence there, she slowly turned to face me with a beautiful smile and motioned me closer. As I approached I noticed she was wearing a beautiful resplendent gown which was composed of what seemed millions of scintillating points of golden and pure white light.

When I reached a point near the altar, she conveyed to me the thought that I was to touch the hem of the garment if I so desired. I then reached out my hand, and the moment that it made contact with the outer folds of the shimmering garment, my mind immediately expanded to cosmic dimensions. I was enraptured to a state of divine revelry and felt the sensations of total omnipresence, omniscience, and complete harmony and bliss. I experienced being everywhere in the mind of God in that sacred moment, and am eternally grateful for the gift of that experience.

After a time I found myself once again in the cave in front of her and she smiled and returned to her altar. I made my way back to the campground where I soon awoke refreshed in my physical body. I have often contemplated this experience which I am sure took place on many levels of being, as the blessing from Mother allowed the expansion of my aura to cosmic dimensions. It was a gift of the experience of the buddhic state of consciousness for which I am eternally grateful. I believe this experience was a foreshadowing of the great teachings that we are now receiving regarding the solar presence and developing the solar virtues within our auras through the teachings of the beloved Masters Omraam and El Morya on this subject through Meru University and the Hearts Center teachings.

As I have heard more stories from other chelas over the years I am always amazed at the great attainment that she wielded while yet embodied. Truly our Guru Ma is a “Woman clothed with the Sun”. I encourage anyone who desires a greater walk with God to look to our beloved Clare de Lis, and I pray that all who do are similarly blessed as I have been to have her as a teacher and guide in my life.

I agree. The greatest moment of wholeness I have had was standing near Mother and attuning to the divine wholeness within me while at the Inner Retreat. Just being in her aura was enough to attune to my own divine destiny and wholeness. I am grateful. Nancy
