Dean,

Is this a quote from Omraam? As a child he spent hours watching a spring flow out of the ground. It symbolized the purifying, inexhaustible source of love.

Yes. This quote from Omraam becomes even more meaningful given the beautiful visualization you have mentioned of God's love streaming forth from the earth abundantly and constantly. The scene encourages us to get on our knees and drink !!!

Pure spring water was one of the four elemental things that fascinated Omraam as a child. He also was fascinated by watching fire, swinging in the breeze at the tops of trees, and thread. The last item seems odd. I would think mud pies would be the thing for earth. But the thread symbolized either karmic ties with others or our connection to God and the masters. I guess because of karmic ties, we're in physical embodiment.

True love is not a feeling but a state of consciousness.
This is worth meditating on if you want to further your evolution.
Of all the qualities that will bring you closer to this understanding of love, purity is the most important.
And when I say purity, I mean thoughts and feelings that involve no selfish interest whatsoever.
