If you're not sure whether you have it, just try listening to the Windows Media audio of the Cuzco dictation in the Heartstreams section of our website here: Listen to Beloved Cuzco from February 6, 2005 If you click on the button for "Windows Media" and you start to hear the dictation after 10-40 seconds of delay, then you're all set, and the live broadcasts will most likely work for you. After a break in the broadcast, you'll need to click the "play" button in your Windows Media Player again or click on the url link to reconnect to the broadcast. If this doesn't work, and you get an error message such as this: "Windows Media Player cannot connect to the server. The server name may be incorrect or the server is busy. Try again later." -- it is most likely that the broadcast simply has not started up yet. Check your schedule of events and make sure to take into account any time zone differences. For Macintosh users, the media player works more reliably if you start it up before you click on an audio link. The broadcasts from the Wellspring Retreat in Emigrant have been known to drop out occasionally. We are aware of the problem and regret the inconvenience to you. Thank you for your patience as we work toward the solution. In the meanwhile, you may reconnect by clicking on the "play" button 30-60 seconds after the dropout to rejoin the broadcast.
